Lunch

The garden restaurant is Stasja’s territory. Trained in the tradition of the Ballymalloe Cookery School in Ireland and making use of her Surinam roots, her Indonesian home land and her Italian kitchen internship, she has developed a cooking style of her own, which is a fusion between different kinds of cuisine from all over the world. Solid dishes made from fresh products, everything home-made with ingredients that are mostly home-grown. The menu is changed every week and contains, aside from a hot dish of the day, a selection of lovely fresh sandwiches, home-made soups, quiches and summer salads as well. The card may also contain the classics, such as a hamburger made from beef of cows that have grazed on the salty meadows surrounding Ouddorp or pancakes made from flour from the Ouddorp mill.

Lunch is served between 12:00-14:00h. Beyond those times, one can enjoy coffee and cake or a glass of wine (selected and picked up from France, Italy and Germany ourselves), a special beer or organic soda and fruit juice. The entrance fee of €5 includes a cup of coffee or tea. We are a member of Slow Food Nederland and of Wakker Dier.
